ARTISTIC DIRECTOR - Elena Eli Belyea is a queer performer, producer, arts educator, and graduate of the National Theatre School of Canada’s Playwriting program from amiskwaciwȃskahikan (colonially known as Edmonton).

Elena’s plays have received numerous awards, including First Place in the 2015 Wildside National Playwriting Competition with Cleave (also included as part of the Playwrights Guild of Canada’s 2018 Surefire List). They’re also the 2018/2019 recipient of the Tarragon Theatre’s RBC Emerging Playwright Award. They were a member of Nightwood Theatre’s 2016-2017 Write from the Hip Playwriting Unit, and Tarragon Theatre’s 2018-2019 RBC Emerging Playwright-In-Residence. Her play “Smoke” won the Sterling Award for Outstanding Indie Production, and was recently published by Playwrights’ Canada Press. They were a member of Spindle Film’s inaugural Trans and Non-Binary Film Mentorship Program, and are also half of queer sketch duo “Gender? I Hardly Know Them” (@genderihardlyknowthem).

A graduate of the University of Alberta as well as the National Theatre School of Canada (Playwriting), Elena has mentored emerging writers and theatre makers for over fifteen years, through numerous arts organizations such as the University of Virginia’s Young Writers’ Workshop, The Citadel Theatre’s Foote Theatre School, the University of Alberta’s New Works Festival, to name a few. EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR AND ARTISTIC PRODUCER - Tori Morrison is a designer, producer, and production manager from amiskwaciwâskahikan (Edmonton, AB) on Treaty 6, currently based in Tkaronto (Toronto, ON) on Treaty 13. She is the Production Manager for Outside the March and she collaborates with writer David Gagnon Walker as Strange Victory Performance. Recent credits include multimedia design for This Is the Story of the Child Ruled by Fear (Strange Victory Performance tour to nine Canadian cities, 2021-2024), assistant sound design for The Importance of Being Earnest (Citadel Theatre, 2023), and production management for Outside the March's and Soulpepper's A Public Reading of an Unproduced Screenplay About the Death of Walt Disney as well as OtM's production of R.A.V.E. (2024). She recently completed the Canadian Film Centre Slaight Family Music Residency.
