Award-winning theatre company Tiny Bear Jaws presents “I Don’t Even Miss You”– a dystopian pop “solo” show, featuring Elena Belyea (winner of the 2023 Betty Award for Outstanding Lead Performance in a Musical, “A tour de force” – Calgary Herald). Non-binary computer programmer Basil (they/them) wakes one morning to discover they are alone. They spend the next three years searching for others and building Orchid, a virtual assistant to keep them company. Now, Basil is recording a musical to serve as an archive of their life, for generations to come. A bold, multidisciplinary exploration of artificial intelligence, grief, love, and legacy, “I Don’t Even Miss You” asks how gender, identity, and family can exist with no one to perceive them.
